Bulk Trash Pickup: How It Works for TrashTastic Customers

Old mattress, busted furniture, the treadmill-turned-coat-rack? Bulk pickup is how we move the big stuff. Here's how to request one, what we charge, and what we take.

You know that feeling when you walk into a clean, organized space? When every drawer closes, the closets actually shut, and you can walk through the garage without turning sideways? That feeling is waiting for you on the other side of one good weekend.

But here's the honest truth about decluttering: the hardest part isn't the sorting or the cleaning. It's figuring out what to do with everything you're getting rid of. The broken patio furniture. The exercise bike that became the world's most expensive coat rack. Those mystery boxes from your last move that you definitely needed to keep (narrator: you didn't).

That's where bulk pickup comes in. No renting a truck. No awkward trips to the dump. No bribing your neighbor with pizza to help move the couch. Just pile it up, and we'll haul it off.

    How Bulk Pickup Works

    1. Text or email us a photo. Send the items and where they're staged (driveway, garage, side of house) to 470-664-3100 or [email protected].
    2. We'll quote you. We'll look at the photo and send a price back for you to approve.
    3. Schedule the pickup. Once you approve the quote, we'll set a day on our route.
    4. We show up and haul it away. Our crew loads everything up. You don't lift a thing.

    Pricing

    • Bulk pickups: $250 minimum.
    • Single-item quotes available. Only have a mattress and a broken recliner? We can price per piece — just send the photo.

    What We Take

    • Furniture: sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, desks, mattresses, box springs
    • Appliances: washers, dryers, refrigerators (drained), microwaves, dishwashers
    • Exercise equipment: treadmills, bikes, ellipticals
    • Outdoor: patio furniture, grills, children's playsets (disassembled)
    • Household clutter: boxed items, storage totes, decor, rugs
    • Construction debris: small remodel cleanouts (ask first for drywall or tile volume)

    What We Can't Take

    • Hazardous materials: paint, chemicals, solvents, automotive fluids, propane tanks
    • Tires (local shops and county events handle these)
    • Electronics with CRT tubes (old TVs and monitors) — require certified e-waste handlers
    • Medical waste or biohazards
    • Ammunition, fireworks, or explosives

If you're not sure about something, just ask. We'll tell you straight up.

    Bulk Pickup Is Customer-Only

Bulk pickup is available exclusively to active TrashTastic customers. If you're not on our regular route yet, start with a weekly service sign-up and bulk pickup becomes available to you.

Want the short version? Our bulk trash pickup page has pricing, what we take and how to request a quote in one place.

    One Last Thing

Bulk cleanup energy is contagious. Once your neighbors see a truck backing up and the transformation that follows, they're going to want in. Send them our way — we always have room for new friends on the route.

Ready to reclaim your garage? Email us a photo or text 470-664-3100. We'll handle the hard part.
